• Flamingos painting the lake pink
• Buffalo, warthogs, jackals—and even a rare black rhino

What made it special? The crater feels like a natural zoo with no fences. Wildlife is everywhere, and the scenery is unreal—steep crater walls surround you like a lost world.

After lunch by the water, we began our return to Arusha, tired but overflowing with memories.
